Job Title: Water Quality Professional

This is an exciting opportunity to be a key member of our operations team as a Water Quality Technician at Wet'n Wild, Gold Coast.

You will deliver high standards of expertise in all aspects of swimming pool maintenance with water quality management. Your main goal is to maintain a safe swimming environment by balancing pool chemical operational parameters or standards.

Key tasks include operating, maintaining and adjusting automated chemical metering and chemical dosing equipment to an operator's level. You will also ensure hazardous chemicals, handling equipment and mechanical components are stored and managed safely.

As a valuable team member, you will perform daily maintenance of filtration systems, lint strainers, chemical and centrifugal pumps. You must be available to work between the hours of 5am to 10pm including weekends and rotate shifts when required.

  • Deliver high standards of expertise in all aspects of swimming pool maintenance with water quality management.
  • Maintain a safe swimming environment by balancing pool chemical operational parameters or standards.
  • Operate, maintain and adjust automated chemical metering and chemical dosing equipment to an operator's level.
  • Ensure hazardous chemicals, handling equipment and mechanical components are stored and managed safely.
  • Perform daily maintenance of filtration systems, lint strainers, chemical and centrifugal pumps.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and hold a Pool plant operator certificate or be willing to obtain one. A basic understanding of UV systems and water hydraulics is also desirable.
