Store Mapper Role

RDAS Store Mappers are responsible for activating a system that will revolutionize the way we navigate indoors.

The role involves visiting retail stores, picking up a kit and using an iPhone to map the surroundings. The process includes attending online training, arriving at the store on time, recording the surroundings, and being in contact with remote call-centre support throughout the day.

Mappers must be patient, detail-oriented, and comfortable with remote guidance. They also need to have a valid driver's license and access to a car.

The ideal candidate is dedicated, available to map multiple stores in their area, and interested in technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick up a kit from a nearby UPS/FedEx point or contact person
  • Attend 30-minute online training prior to the site visit
  • Arrive at the scheduled site on time, with the kit and your personal phone (fully charged)
  • Record the surroundings using the provided Mapping iPhone
  • Be in contact with Oriient's remote call-centre via Google Meet throughout the day
  • Fully charge the phone and power bank at the end of the day
Requirements:
  • Sense of direction & orientation to mark pinpoints on a map
  • Patience and attention to detail - precision is key to progress
  • Ability to work on your feet for a full day and navigate obstacles
  • Communicative, self-motivated, and independent individual
  • Comfortable with remote guidance and ongoing communication with an operator
  • Current Valid License and Car required
