Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician

We are seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technicians to join our operations in the Bowen Basin. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality service by carrying out maintenance and repairs on heavy mining equipment, adhering to the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and extend its lifespan
  • Conduct thorough diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and rectify technical issues promptly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless workflow and meet project deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on job progress and resolve any concerns they may have

Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualifications and extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining large CAT mining equipment
  • A current coal board medical and a Std 11 Qualification or the ability to acquire via an approved training program
  • 3-5 years' post-trade experience in heavy equipment maintenance
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
