The successful candidate will provide strategic advice and operational delivery of all audit, risk, and compliance matters, including developing appropriate frameworks and embedding a risk culture within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The role works closely with our outsourced service partners to ensure alignment with internal audit, risk, and compliance frameworks.
  • The role draws on insights to anticipate risks and impacts, ensuring the organisation remains futureproof.

Risk Management Framework:

  • Deliver an effective risk management framework by working with Executives and business units to identify and mitigate material risks.
  • Report on material risks to the Executive and Board.
  • Oversee outsourced service partners to identify risks in services provided and ensure they are mitigated.
  • Implement the quality control program related to the risk management framework.

Audit and Compliance:

  • Oversee performance of the outsourced internal audit function.
  • Review and coordinate audit scopes and draft internal and external audit reports.
  • Review internal audit reports and ensure implementation of recommendations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Permanent residents or Australian citizens required; criminal records check also required.

Benefits:

  • Salary: $190,000 - $210,000 per annum inclusive of super.
  • Location: Sydney CBD (2000) - 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH.
