Job Description

As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in connecting customers with their local team and providing direct support to ensure that we keep the customer at the centre of everything we do.

This position involves working with seniors and those living with disability, interacting with a diverse range of customers, their families, carers, community agencies, and other professionals. You will need to use great communication skills to engage with customers, understand professional boundaries and privacy issues, and be willing to provide domestic assistance services.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with seniors and those living with disability, or demonstrate equivalent skills and abilities. They must also be enthusiastic and engaging with customers, able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess a proactive approach to the safety and well-being of themselves and their customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with seniors and those living with disability (desirable but not essential)
  • Great communication skills for interacting with diverse range of customers, families, carers, community agencies, and other professionals
  • Enthusiastic and engaging personality
  • Understanding of professional boundaries and privacy issues
  • Ability to provide domestic assistance services
  • Willingness to work across other services (including gardening, social support, and group activities)
  • Ability to work with varied customer base
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive approach to safety and well-being
