Site Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team at Gough Recruitment AU. As a Site Engineer, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of projects across various built-forms, ranging from $100M to $400M.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful delivery of projects that meet the criteria of safety, client satisfaction, quality, timeliness, and margins. You will also be responsible for applying innovative design and construct processes, tools, and techniques to add value to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily site records.
- Collaborate with supervisors to ensure safety compliance and create a safe working environment.
- Verify that the scope of work, product usage, and design logic are adhered to, as per the tender package content.
- Review consultant and subcontractor output for compliance with the design brief.
- Manage, monitor, and control the flow of technical information between design disciplines and internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in ensuring the design is completed to standard and on time to maintain the program.
- Review the quality of subcontractor works on-site and communicate findings to the project team.
- Review subcontractor quality documentation and checklists to ensure compliance.
- Identify project issues and drive the development and implementation of solutions.
- Complete Quality Assurance tasks such as ITPs, SWMS, etc., including revision and approval.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Building/Construction Management or Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience working within the building and construction industry in roles precedent to Site Engineer.
- Strong quality focus and risk assessment skills.
- Jobpac experience is required.
