We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team in providing restorative and rehabilitative care following medical or surgical hospitalization.

Our 21-bed ward combines Subacute, Acute General Medical, and Gastroenterology patients, requiring a collaborative approach between the nursing team and specialized Allied Health staff.

The successful applicant will provide high-quality clinical care, implementing quality and risk management strategies, and maintaining current knowledge and skills for professional growth.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • At least 2 years of experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Experience with Gastroenterology is highly regarded
  • Proven clinical competency and high standards of nursing care
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to continuous improvement in healthcare and nursing practice

You will work closely with the Geriatric Medical Team, focusing on restoring physical and cognitive functions and preventing further decline.

This role requires ability to work rotating shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends.
