Senior Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned expert to lead the development of cutting-edge infrastructure solutions. This role will involve overseeing the technical direction of our Z development teams, focusing on enhancements for Linux kernel and multi-architecture deployments, and developing AI-driven solutions.

This is an opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and leadership skills to drive innovation and growth within our organization. You will be responsible for mentoring junior developers, providing guidance, and supporting developer certification initiatives.

Furthermore, you will collaborate with international leaders to plan and integrate products, foster university relations, and create content for lectures tailored to our needs. Interacting with clients, technical sales colleagues, and product management will also be key aspects of this role.

To succeed in this position, you must have strong technical leadership skills, including experience with architecture boards and leadership interactions. A broad experience from multiple technical leadership positions is also essential.

You should possess a strong teaching/educating capability for technical content and a robust network within our organization, universities, and clients. Passion for IBM Z, Linux, Open Source, and machine learning, as well as experience building new teams, is highly desirable.

A Master's Degree is preferred but not required. Your ability to comprehend new technical areas quickly will be crucial in this dynamic environment.
