At Shift, we're seeking a skilled and experienced Payments Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in building the future of payments within our business. This challenging position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to influence stakeholders.

About the Role

This key position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement cutting-edge payment solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. As a Business Analyst, you will lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage your in-depth knowledge of the Australian payments landscape to analyse and document existing payment processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to streamline operations and enhance customer experience.
  • Develop test plans, conduct testing, and validate payment solutions to ensure they meet requirements.
  • Ensure payment solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards within the Australian financial services sector.
Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of the Australian payments landscape
  • Previous experience in a Business Analyst or Technical analyst role would be highly regarded
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders
  • Advanced ability in interpreting and documenting technical processes
  • Proven background supporting and participating in successful and complex projects
