Research Development Lead Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in advancing mental health and alcohol and other drugs research within the region. This position involves guiding and supporting services to enhance their research capacity and culture by identifying funding opportunities and promoting clinician-led research.

The successful candidate will provide high-level advice on developing and implementing research capacity building programs, as well as state-wide and national initiatives related to mental health and alcohol and other drugs research.

This role requires collaboration with key stakeholders and external organisations to develop a research strategy that promotes partnerships with various health, education, and research organisations and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guiding and supporting services to enhance their research capacity and culture.
  • Identifying funding opportunities and promoting clinician-led research.
  • Providing high-level advice on developing and implementing research capacity building programs.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders and external organisations to develop a research strategy.
