Key Research Development Position

The position of Key Research Development Lead is responsible for driving and coordinating Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs research across the Mid North Coast Local Health District.

This role will guide and support services to build on their research capacity, capability, and culture by seeking opportunities for funding and supporting clinician-led research. The Research Development Lead will provide high-level advice to senior leadership teams on developing and implementing research capacity building programs and initiatives related to Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs research.

Key responsibilities include working collaboratively with stakeholders and external organisations to develop a research strategy that promotes partnerships with health, education, and research organisations and programs.

Developing and implementing strategic plans to advance mental health research and practice within the district is also essential.
