Regulatory Intelligence Leader Role

This role is a key position that oversees the development, coordination and provision of high-quality intelligence and analysis to inform strategic, operational and tactical planning and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to manage the team effectively consistent with statutory responsibilities and the strategic direction and operational policies.
  • Lead and coordinate the successful development of regulatory intelligence capabilities and products to support regulatory activity.
  • Provide in-depth analysis on complex issues and identify opportunities, solutions and strategies to address contentious, long-term and emergent issues.
  • Establish effective communication systems internally and externally to ensure stakeholders are consulted and information is disseminated as required.
  • Deliver comprehensive briefings and documentation to communicate findings and influence decision making.
  • Represent the organisation at meetings and forums to provide expert analysis and advice on regulatory issues.
Eligibility Requirements
  • Strong experience in stakeholder engagement with difficult and sensitive issues.
  • Excellent research, conceptual thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills to understand and communicate complex findings.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities while working to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for quality assurance.
  • Flexibility to work independently or collaboratively with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong data and regulatory intelligence literacy and reporting skills including structured analytical techniques.
  • Ability to lead, develop and manage a team including data and intelligence specialist staff.
