Unlocking Indigenous Business Potential

A Credit Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting entrepreneurs and businesses across Australia. This not-for-profit organisation empowers Indigenous enterprises through financial advice, support, and capital.

The ideal candidate will join an investment team responsible for identifying, analysing, and funding suitable businesses. This opportunity offers experienced financial analysts the chance to leverage their skills and join an organisation with exciting growth plans.

The successful candidate will possess strong financial and commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills, and experience in corporate banking, fund management, or corporate advisory. A current driver's licence and Australian PR/Citizenship are essential requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop proposals to secure investments;
  • Assist entrepreneurs in building business plans and strategies;
  • Conduct thorough financial and commercial due diligence;
  • Perform ad-hoc financial modelling, analysis, and forecasting to inform investment decisions;
  • Support the development of new funds and initiatives;
  • Evaluate the social return on investments made;
  • Suggest innovative solutions to unlock new products and capital to support the Indigenous business sector;

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate and/or post-grad qualification in finance, economics, accounting, or related field;
  • 2-7 years of experience in corporate banking, fund management, or corporate advisory;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in financial analysis, modelling, valuation, accounting, research, and report writing;
  • A current driver's licence and reliable transportation;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
  • Australian PR/Citizenship;
