Aged Care Support Specialist

As a respected Western Australian aged care provider, we champion individualised care that keeps our customers connected to their passions and places.
Our team provides community-based care programs that assist our aged customers to live independently in their own homes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering personal care, including showering, dressing, and continence care
- Assisting customers with administration of correct medication
- Assisting customers with domestic duties, meal preparation, and other household tasks
- Providing social support, including transport to shops or appointments
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Current Australian driver's licence and reliable car
- Certificate III Aged Care (desirable)
- Current First Aid certification (desirable)
- Previous experience working in the community (desirable)
- Understanding of documentation and relevant aged care legislation
- Understanding of principles of Occupational, Safety & Health and correct manual handling
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
