Field Services Technician

The primary objective of this role is to maintain service delivery within our various instrumentation networks, ensuring seamless operations and maximizing productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Doppler Rain Radars, Automatic Weather Stations (AWS), Upper-Air monitoring systems (Sounding Balloons), Flood warning / rainfall monitoring systems, and Communications, telemetry and instrumentation systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including equipment checks, repairs, and replacements as necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience in electronics, electrical or instrumentation.
  • Technical skills to perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot issues.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout Australia and work in remote locations.
