We are a specialist Civil Project Management and Delivery Company in Queensland, continually tendering for new projects throughout QLD and NSW. We welcome expressions of interest from experienced Civil Project Engineers with a strong track record in delivering major projects.

Job Summary

Civil Services Group is seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join our team as a Maintenance & Works expert. The successful candidate will have a minimum 10 years' experience in roadworks (Maintenance and Works), including resurfacing, earthworks, pavements, and drainage works.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the assessment of tenders received, evaluating and recommending suitable contractors;
  • Assess Construction Quality, Safety, Environmental and Traffic management plans;
  • Undertake surveillance activities on Construction Contract works, including manual audits and provision certification;
  • Report on project progress, issues, and performance;
  • Compile finalisation documentation and assist with As Constructed detail;
  • Document Lessons learned and opportunities for improvement;
  • Direct, monitor, and guide less experienced staff in their duties;
  • Administer contracts as an Administrator's Representative when required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in roadworks (Maintenance and Works) with a focus on resurfacing, earthworks, pavements, and drainage works;
  • Exposure to Contract Administration using TMR Contract Admin Systems (CAS) would be beneficial;
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification accepted by Institution of Engineers Australia as a full Member (MIEAust);
  • RPEQ accreditation is highly advantageous;
  • Driver's licence and access to own mobile phone.

Earning Potential

The estimated annual salary range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer competitive remuneration and benefits, commensurate with industry standards.
