
Senior Quality Specialist

We are seeking a Quality Advisor to support the implementation and monitoring of quality objectives and requirements. This role will involve working closely with the Quality Manager to ensure risks and issues do not impact project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and recommend inspection and sampling techniques, quality control plans, process control procedures, testing and analysis procedures to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
- Document quality issues and performance measures for management review.
- Assist with implementing the organisational Quality Management System on the project to ensure quality objectives and targets are met.
- Prepare audit reports summarising production and quality issues together with recommending corrective actions.
- Identify and report quality objectives, requirements, risks and other issues that may adversely impact successful project delivery to the Quality Manager.
- Provide technical advice and assistance to management for quality-related activities.
- Understand compliance and reporting procedures and processes.
- Manage non-compliances and ensure dispositions, remedial solutions and corrective actions are effectively implemented.
- Review subcontractors' quality documentation and ensure they fulfil their quality system obligations.
- Attend inspections to ensure works are compliant with design and project requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (or similar), Science, Building, Construction, Quality Management or Project Management.
- Ideally 3+ years' experience in a quality representative role.
- Quality assurance experience gained preferably within the construction industry working on Infrastructure Projects. Water infrastructure advantageous.
- Experience in developing and implementing project QA management systems.

- Ability to travel to and work on-site at Lake MacDonald.
