Service Operations Professional

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Service Operations Professional to play a critical role in the maintenance and optimization of our Automated Material Handling System.

As a Service Operations Professional, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance duties as directed, responding promptly to reactive calls to ensure optimal productivity and system availability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to health & safety compliance standards, service quality expectations, and effective teamwork within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address service requests and issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities and system performance.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance overall performance.
  • Anticipate potential issues and address them proactively before they escalate.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in all work undertaken.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to achieve collective goals and objectives.
  • Regularly review work and make necessary adjustments to optimize results.
  • Celebrate successes and acknowledge areas for improvement.
  • Ensure strict adherence to established safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
  • Properly utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Comply with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to safely de-energize machinery during maintenance activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Electrical Service Technician: Must hold a current A Grade Electrical License.
  • Ability to act as a technical contact during incidents, handling requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Industrial Network solutions and PLC control systems is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience with service activities on automated materials handling systems is advantageous.
  • Must possess a methodical approach to workflows.
  • Able to adapt to shift work arrangements.
  • Experience with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) is beneficial.
