Software Delivery Lead Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Delivery Lead to join our Core Technology team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of products, tools and services.

Your primary objective will be to facilitate effective collaboration between Engineering, Product Management, Design and DevOps teams to ensure projects meet timeline and quality expectations.

You will balance technical understanding, project governance and team facilitation to deliver value in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Technical Scoping: Break down project requirements into technical tasks and identify dependencies.
  • System Integration Oversight: Coordinate API development, third-party integrations and internal system dependencies for smooth data flow and compatibility.
  • Infrastructure & Deployment Coordination: Work with DevOps and Engineering teams to track infrastructure needs, CI/CD pipelines and deployment schedules.
  • Project Delivery & Prioritisation: Use lightweight project management processes to support teams without adding unnecessary overhead.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential obstacles and risks early in the project lifecycle and remove blockers.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • 3+ years of experience in managing software development projects.
  • A solid understanding of software development lifecycles and methodologies.
  • Experience managing delivery of web applications and their APIs.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
