Inventory Strategist Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Balance customer demands with supply chain capabilities to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Apply end-to-end supply chain knowledge to enhance operational efficiency, drive cost savings, and maximize value.
  • Manage contract execution and analysis to optimize operational and financial performance and mitigate risks.
  • Analyze problems and evaluate multiple solutions to ensure a structured approach to solving complex issues.
  • Sources information, plans, and conducts analyses to support data-driven decision making.
  • Gains support for and negotiates outcomes that achieve mutually beneficial goals.
  • Makes informed decisions aligned with long-term business objectives.
  • Supports the management of vendor/customer selection, contracts, and performance to maximize operational and financial outcomes and mitigate exposure to risk.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a field such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of end-to-end supply chain functions and processes.
  • Experience with analytics and strategy, including demand planning and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in SAP Master Data and cataloguing.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data to inform business decisions.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to operate effectively in complex environments.
  • Autonomous, detail-oriented, organized, and objective mindset.
  • Proven track record of success in supply chain optimization and inventory management.
