Job Title: Mechanical Fitting Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced tradesperson to fill the role of Mechanical Fitting Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling all products as per drawings, routings, and Bills of Materials.

  • You will work closely with our supervisors to identify any discrepancies in pump components that do not meet quality standards or are not included in the Bill of Materials.
  • Identify and advise your supervisor of any product defects during the assembly process.
  • Fully document all relevant paperwork related to shop orders, traceability, quality, and customer requirements.

To ensure the success of our team, we are looking for a skilled individual with:

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and instructions.
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools specific to mechanical fitting.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and components, including hydraulics and pneumatics.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Relevant technical certifications or trade qualifications in mechanical fitting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in pump assembly or a relevant industry.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
