Electrical Maintenance Technician Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane.
This is a permanent position offering an immediate start. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proactive, and demonstrate problem-solving abilities. A current Queensland Electrical Work Licence or equivalent is essential. Experience with MS Outlook and maintenance management systems (e.g., SAP) is highly regarded.
A disciplined approach to safety and autonomy is necessary, as well as experience in maintenance/repair in a fast-paced modern manufacturing environment. While PLC, Variable Speed Drives, and Pneumatics experience is advantageous, it is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure maximum equipment uptime by completing effective preventative maintenance when production is not running.
- Manage day-to-day tasks, quality, safety issues, and escalations to your supervisor.
- Perform electrical work that meets company safety and housekeeping requirements and conforms to relevant regulations.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot faults.
- Be a proactive team member who shows initiative to build on cultural change improvements.
