Electrical Maintenance Technician
This role involves the maintenance and improvement of electrical systems in a plant environment.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in electrical operations, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
The Opportunity
- A stable Monday to Friday role with a 38-hour week

- Ownership and impact in driving improvements to electrical systems
Key Responsibilities
- Start up the plant daily and ensure smooth operation
- Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns and electrical faults
- Lead small projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain site lighting, security systems, and electrical infrastructure
- Diagnose and fault-find on PLCs and control systems
- Support the control side of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Complete statutory testing (RCDs, test & tag, emergency lighting)
- Coordinate contractors and manage ordering of spare parts
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Industrial or Manufacturing Electrician
- Strong PLC fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Solid problem-solving and organisational skills
- Comfortable managing contractors and suppliers
- EWP Licence (preferred but not essential)
