As a key member of our Technical Solutions team, you will be responsible for supporting and assisting the Product & Underwriting Manager - Casualty & Financial Lines with the profitability, underwriting, management, and oversight of our Financial Lines portfolios across all customer segments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain underwriting guidelines and standards for Financial Lines products.
- Manage underwriting authority licenses and accreditations for team members.
- Implement and maintain rating and pricing tools for Financial Lines products.
- Ensure underwriting governance and assurance processes are in place and effective.
- Provide technical expertise and support to underwriters and other stakeholders.
- Build and maintain organization-wide underwriting capability and expertise.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in a technical underwriting role in Financial Lines.
- Deep knowledge of Financial Lines products and exposures.
- Experience in policy drafting for short-tail and long-tail lines of business.
- Proven track record of delivering profitable growth in Financial Lines.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
