Job Title: Purchasing and Procurement Specialist

As a skilled Purchasing and Procurement Specialist, you will provide administrative support across procurement, travel, events, and office operations to ensure these functions run efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Raise and process purchase requisitions accurately while ensuring full compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Verify invoices promptly and manage goods receipting to guarantee timely processing of financial transactions.
  • Assist in setting up new suppliers within the finance system and maintain accurate records of third-party suppliers managed via contracts or legal instruments.
  • Support travel planning by booking flights, accommodation, events, transportation, and managing related logistics for the team.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for staff and contractors by coordinating inductions, documentation, exit sessions, and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience providing high-quality administrative support within a busy office environment where accuracy is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Planner) with strong organisational abilities and time management skills to manage multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions and records.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to build rapport with colleagues across departments as well as external partners or vendors.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and respectful engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
