Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team based in Adelaide. This is a fixed-term position until further notice.
This role involves end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring best value for the business while balancing costs, supplier risk, quality, schedule, and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders.
About the Opportunity- The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring materials and services, developing robust sourcing strategies, and proactively managing supplier performance to achieve contract requirements.
- They will also lead supplier negotiations, finalize Supplier Agreements, and purchase orders in accordance with set procedures and Delegations Of Authority.
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field is desirable. Defence industry experience would be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience in procurement or supply chain management, including contract development and negotiation with key suppliers.
- Familiarity with Aveva and/or Oracle will be highly regarded. A Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain is required.
