Remote Rural Medicine Opportunity

Practice as a Rural Generalist GP VMO on beautiful King Island, providing primary care and participating in the VMO roster at the local hospital. The practice is well-equipped with modern facilities and accreditations.

The King Island Hospital offers a range of services, including emergency and acute care, outpatient clinics, and support for patients with various medical conditions. As a Tier 1 hospital, it accepts patients requiring high-level care.

To succeed in this role, you will require strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for working in rural healthcare. You will be expected to hold a current registration with AHPRA and have completed training in emergency medicine.
