Role Overview

This position involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a rural remote setting. The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide safe, quality, and clinically appropriate nursing care.

The successful applicant will be part of a multi-disciplinary team at Flinders Island Multi-Purpose Centre, providing comprehensive care services including aged care beds, acute beds, outpatient services, emergency services, physiotherapy, x-ray, podiatry, footcare, and visiting services.

As a shift-worker, the individual will work up to 76 hours per fortnight on a rotational basis, with opportunities for negotiation on contract terms. Salary packaging and benefits such as living expenses, meal entertainment, and superannuation will be available.
