Job Opportunity: Personal Carer & Lifestyle Assistant

A unique chance to gain lifestyle experience while providing high-quality personal care has arisen.

This dual role combines working in the wellness and lifestyle team with assisting residents with daily tasks, developing care plans, promoting independence, and supporting residents to make choices about their lifestyle and activities.

Lifestyle Activities:

Responsibilities include maximising engagement in meaningful activities, maintaining comprehensive records, and advising and supporting students, colleagues, volunteers, and loved ones.

We are looking for individuals who will make a difference in the lives of our residents and clients.

Candidates should have a certificate in individual support (ageing) or equivalent, demonstrated experience in a personal carer role, and an excellent understanding of dementia care requirements.

They should also possess sound problem-solving skills, exceptional communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills, as well as a passion for gerontic care.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
