Provide compassionate personal care assistance and support daily tasks to empower individuals with disabilities and enhance their well-being.
We are seeking a full-time Aged or Disability Carer to join our team in this mission. The successful candidate will promote independence and well-being among our clients, offering help with dressing, bathing, and toileting, as well as assisting with cooking, cleaning, and other household duties.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Personal care support, including assistance with daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, and toileting.
- Cooking, cleaning, and household duties support.
- Medication administration and personal hygiene needs support.
- Promoting Well-being and Independence:
- Foster healthy lifestyle choices by assisting clients with grocery shopping and meal preparation.
- Develop new life skills and enable community participation and independence.
- Support clients in pursuing new interests and hobbies.
- Certificate 3 or above in community services or individual support and at least 1 year of experience.
- A strong understanding of Asian Culture and Cultural Practices.
