Graduate Accountant Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to fill the position of graduate accountant. This role is ideal for an individual who has completed or is nearing completion of a degree in accounting, business, or a related field.

About the Job
  • This role involves assisting in the preparation of financial reports and taxation returns for clients across various industries.
  • You will be responsible for processing Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) using accounting software such as Xero, Reckon, and MYOB.
  • Liaising with regulatory bodies, including the Australian Tax Office, is also an essential aspect of this role.

As a graduate accountant, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to different structures, including individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, and self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs).

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You will possess strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You will be able to multitask, work independently, prioritize tasks, and take direction from managers.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to be proactive, organised, and able to meet deadlines. You will also require excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
