Providing Meals with Care

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Food Service Assistant at a 70-bed residential aged care facility in Melbourne.

This role involves serving meals, general food preparation, kitchen duties, and stock control. You will work closely with our culinary team to ensure that all meals are prepared to a high standard and presented in a clean and safe manner.

About the Role:

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Serving nutritious meals to residents
  • Preparing ingredients for meals
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Conducting stock control

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current Safe Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Knowledge of good hygiene practices
  • Previous experience in Aged Care is desirable but not essential
