Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Graduate Engineer to join our team in Brisbane, Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for you to develop your skills and expertise in industrial refrigeration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative refrigeration solutions for clients
  • Prepare detailed estimates and tender submissions for projects
  • Evaluate and modify existing refrigeration systems to meet client needs
  • Market our services, including consulting, maintenance, and parts supply, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer support
  • Manage projects, negotiate with suppliers, coordinate designs and procurement, and oversee project administration
  • Monitor project costs to ensure successful completion
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Develop knowledge of Australian and international standards
  • Draft small projects using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or hand sketches
  • Perform safety and engineering audits on-site and compile reports
  • Contribute to improving internal systems for engineering and project management
  • Handle administrative duties related to engineering operations
  • Supervise and assist with commissioning new plants
  • Assist in delivering training to technical staff
  • Support the service department with engineering and contracting tasks
  • Ensure health and safety at the workplace and cooperate with management on safety requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Requirements

  • A minimum of a B.Eng. in Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering
  • At least 5 years of industrial refrigeration experience post-graduation
  • Ability to interpret drawings
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A proactive approach and ability to work independently
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with various professionals
  • A current valid driver's license
