We are seeking an experienced trader to join our Trading Team in Sydney, as we expand our coverage to include fixed-income products. You will be part of a high-impact, collaborative team, responsible for establishing and running this new desk.
You will quote, execute, and manage risk in fixed-income ETFs across APAC - both on-screen and OTC. Additionally, you will collaborate with quants, engineers, and other traders to identify and capture trading opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A minimum of 3 years trading experience in ETFs and/or Fixed Income within APAC; China Fixed Income exposure is highly valued.
- Deep knowledge of bond-market structure and how ETFs interact with the primary market.
- Solid grasp of Fixed Income-ETF valuation, basket construction, liquidity sourcing and creation/redemption mechanics.
- Proficiency in Python (or similar) for data analysis; SQL or C++ is a plus.
- Clear, concise communication style; ability to work closely with quants, technologists and external counterparties.
