We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chinese Teacher to join our team at Presbyterian Ladies' College Melbourne.

About the Role

This part-time (0.6 FTE) position will commence at the start of the 2025 school year and will involve teaching Year 11 and 12 International Baccalaureate classes.

The successful candidate will be a confident and forward-thinking teacher of Chinese, with sound IB teaching experience (5+ years) and a passion for guiding, developing, and nurturing students' love of learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Chinese language and literature to students in Year 11 and 12
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience teaching Chinese language and literature in an IB context
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
