**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and passionate Volunteer Coordinator to join our existing volunteer support team. You will join other volunteer coordinators and be responsible for planning & developing ANHF Volunteer Program, processing volunteer recruitment, selection and matching and providing volunteers with on-going support and development to fulfil their passion for volunteer.

**Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Match and allocate appointed volunteers to ANHF facilities and /or Home/Residential Care Package care recipients.
- Promote the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS) internally across ANHF and externally to other Home /Residential Care Package providers.
- Research and connect to external stakeholders in Western Sydney, South East Sydney and South West Sydney to attract/recruit volunteers and deliver ACVVS program.
- Provide on-going education, training and support to volunteers with regards to operational safety and well-being issues.
- Arrange for allowance and reimbursements of expenses
- Organise and facilitate volunteer meetings and recognition events.
- Prepare and maintain accurate data and management information to ensure timely submissions of performance reporting.

**About the Successful Applicant**

**Essential**:

- Tertiary qualifications in any related fields.
- Experience in workplace leadership, supervision, support and conflict resolution.
- Ability to plan and set priorities to meet completion demands.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Chinese (Cantonese/ Mandarin). Vietnamese language skills highly regarded.
- Administrative skills including using Microsoft Applications (Words, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Australian Citizenship/ Permanent Residency/ National Police Clearance/ Driver's Licence.
- Experience working with older people, with CALD populations and in a community setting.

**Preferred**:

- Extroverted personality, not be afraid to meet and talk to people
- Event organiser experience highly regarded
- Previous CVS experience highly regarded
- Aged Care or community care experience highly regarded

**About Benefits**

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 - 37.5 per week
