About the Role

This Behaviour Support Practitioner position offers a unique opportunity to join a highly experienced multidisciplinary team of therapists. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing evidence-based intervention approaches and strategies that are holistic, client-centred, and outcome-driven.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct functional behaviour assessments to inform intervention approaches
  • Identify and implement restrictive practices in accordance with legislative requirements
  • Develop and implement behaviour support plans that align with the Disability Services Standards and NDIS
  • Collaborate with clients, carers, and families to develop and review support plans
  • Advocate for clients to enable choice and decision-making that supports independence and quality of life

  • Current National Police Check

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
