Proficient PBS Practitioner

About the Role
We are seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team of therapists. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing intervention approaches and strategies that are evidence-based, holistic, client-centred, and outcome-driven.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments
- Identify and implement restrictive practices
- Write Behaviour Support Plans (interim and comprehensive)
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate behaviour supports
- Utilise and provide a range of assessment tools and techniques
- Support clients and other stakeholders to develop and review support plans
- Advocate for clients, their carers, and families to enable choice and decision-making that supports independence and quality of life
Requirements
- Current National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current driver's license - valid within Australia
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., psychology, social work, occupational therapy, applied behaviour analysis, disability, health)
- Registration as a Proficient (or above) Practitioner under the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework
- Up-to-date Immunisation History
- Access to your vehicle with employment-related travel reimbursement provided
