Airport Grounds Maintenance Specialist

As a vital member of our airport operations team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for passengers and visitors.
About the RoleThe Aviation Cleaner is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of all areas within the airport. This includes general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and cleaning spills. Additionally, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and toilets, emptying rubbish and recycling bins, and operating cleaning equipment.

You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-traffic airport environment and have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety. We value teamwork, diversity, and inclusion.
Essential RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you must pass a Criminal History Check, Drug and Alcohol Screening, and Medical Assessments. You must also obtain an ASIC (Criminal History Clearance) and hold an unrestricted Driver's License with access to a reliable vehicle. A strong work ethic and punctuality are essential.
Skills & ExperienceOur ideal candidate will have a high level of presentation and cleanliness, excellent communication and customer service skills, proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, physical fitness to walk for extended periods, and a friendly, approachable disposition.
