About Outside of School Hours Care Coordinator Roles

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Outside of School Hours Care Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging programs for children, building positive relationships with parents and carers, and mentoring and supporting their team members.

The ideal candidate will have completed or be currently studying an ACECQA-recognised qualification in Teaching, Childcare, Community Services, or similar. They will also hold a valid Employee Working with Children Check and be willing to obtain HLTAID012 First Aid in a Childcare Setting, Relevant food safety & mandatory reporting certificates and a National Criminal History Check dated within 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging programs for children aged 5-12 years old.
  • Build positive relationships with parents and carers as the face of the program in the school community.
  • Mentor and support team members to develop their skills and growth within the industry.
  • Oversee compliance and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the service.

This is a part-time role working Monday to Friday, with hours from 7:00am - 9:00am and 2:15pm - 6:30pm. The successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours, including split shifts and admin time, to help balance work and life.

What You'll Need:
  • A relevant qualification in Teaching, Childcare, Community Services, or similar.
  • A valid Employee Working with Children Check.
