Job Overview

The Aircraft Maintenance Planner plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our fleet by developing and maintaining short, medium, and long-term maintenance plans that align with operational priorities and fleet availability.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance plans to optimize aircraft utilization and reduce downtime
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations Control Centre, Airworthiness team members, and contracted AMOs to ensure effective coordination and communication
  • Undertake specialized projects and engineering administration tasks as required, applying quality assurance principles to technical records keeping to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Verify and update aircraft utilization data, including hours, cycles, and TTIS, to maintain accurate records
  • Maintain aircraft technical records by filing logbook entries within SharePoint and the MIS, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
  • Ensure RFDS service delivery meets legislative and regulatory requirements, providing critical support to Technical Records

As an integral member of the team, the Aircraft Maintenance Planner provides backup support to Technical Records, assisting with the creation, distribution, upkeep, and acquittal of maintenance documentation to preserve the integrity of Continuing Airworthiness Control.
