Procurement Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Analyst to support the Procurement Manager in managing key suppliers and contracts, identifying opportunities for improvement throughout the organisation.

  • The role involves conducting sophisticated analysis and reporting on procurement activities, including spending analytics, purchasing trends, contract reviews, purchasing risks, and supplier opportunities.
  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing support to the Procurement Manager on category management, supplier management, and contract management.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders to provide advice and insight on their procurement needs and activities.
  • Supporting the Procurement Manager to develop and implement leading practice procurement and expenditure frameworks and policies.
  • Actively supporting and delivering transformational change across procurement.

For this role you will need:

  • Experience in procurement, supplier, and contract management.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to problem solve and think laterally.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information into understandable insights and advice.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with an ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of procurement systems and reporting tools.
  • Time management and a high attention to detail.
