About the Role:

The Project Manager leads the planning, execution and delivery of complex facility builds to deliver operational fully automated vertical farms. This role drives build projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining alignment with strategic objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead end-to-end project management of new farm builds, from scoping and planning to delivery and handover.
  • Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Review and assess variations, assess contractor progress claims, and administer contracts.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including technology teams, operations, suppliers, partners, landlords, and builders/subcontractors.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, updates, and clear communication channels.
  • Travel to project sites as needed for meetings, inspections, and coordination.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Continuously refine project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Drive process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and scalability.

About You:

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in leading cross-functional teams, delivering complex projects on time and driving innovation across the agriculture and technology sector? The ideal applicant has 3+ years of experience in project management, including 2+ years in a construction setting or construction-related field. Experience in the process of building certification is highly valued. A proven track record of delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects in a fast-paced environment is essential. Experience within agtech, manufacturing, engineering, or technology sectors is highly regarded.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, including 2+ years in a construction setting or construction-related field.
  • Experience in the process of building certification is highly valued.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects in a fast-paced environment.
