Job Title:

Facilities and Asset Manager

We are seeking a skilled Facilities and Asset Manager to oversee all trade and day-to-day maintenance operations across our three Cairns hotels. This integral role protects our assets and is accountable for managing the maintenance department budget, capital expenditure projects, ensuring preventative maintenance plans are in place, maintaining all regulatory requirements and leading the emergency response from the property perspective.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with technical staff to ensure effective maintenance planning and execution
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
  • Coordinate vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Interpret technical documentation to inform maintenance decisions
  • Produce detailed reports to communicate maintenance activities and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in facilities management or a related field
  • Proven expertise in collaboration, asset management, compliance, operations, and training
  • Extensive experience in facilities and project management
  • Strong understanding of applicable laws, codes, and regulations
  • Proficiency in systems such as Direct Digital Controls (DDC), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
