Job Description:
  • Leverage your industry knowledge and networks to identify new return-to-work opportunities.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with employers seeking return-to-work support for their organizations.
  • Provide case management for injured workers who require physical and/or psychological support to facilitate their return to employment.

You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team to take a holistic approach to care, establishing key relationships with health professionals and supporting the journey from rehab to healing.

Your role may involve performing various assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise, such as functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic, or activities of daily living assessments.

Collaboration with stakeholders including injured employees, employers, medical specialists, and other allied health professionals is crucial in developing, implementing, and monitoring rehabilitation plans.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Current unrestricted registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA).
  • Occupational Rehabilitation experience.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or Nursing.
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills.
  • An ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of common goals.
  • Possess a passion for helping others rehabilitate.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously.
