Careers: Planning and Environment Associate/Senior Associate Role

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Associate or Senior Associate in the Planning and Environment department. This exciting role offers a unique chance to work with a leading law firm, supporting a partner directly on a wide range of planning matters.
The ideal candidate will have between 3-6 years' experience from a reputable practice or in-house role, with exposure to property law and some knowledge of planning and environment. They will possess excellent legal advice skills, a high degree of technical ability, and strong business acumen. We welcome someone who may be nearing promotion to a Senior Associate role.
Key Responsibilities- Advise on development applications, merits appeals, due diligence, compulsory acquisition compensation claims, contaminated sites, and other forms of planning agreements;
- Work closely with the Planning and Environment partner to provide high-level admin law and compliance advice;
- Between 3-6 years' PQE;
- Relevant experience in property law and some knowledge of planning and environment;
- Excellent legal advice skills and a high degree of technical ability;
- Strong business acumen;
