Job Title:

"Hydraulic Assembly Specialist"

As a skilled Hydraulic Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for attending onsite breakdowns and performing hose replacements, assembling and crimping hydraulic hose assemblies, installing new systems on plant and equipment, diagnosing hydraulic faults, and performing minor repairs.

You will also service fire suppression systems, use mobile systems for accurate job documentation and reporting, and support clients across mine sites, workshops, and mobile operations.

Training and development opportunities are available for applicants without industry-specific experience but with strong mechanical aptitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend onsite breakdowns and perform hose replacements
  • Assemble and crimp hydraulic hose assemblies
  • Install new systems on plant and equipment
  • Diagnose hydraulic faults and perform minor repairs
  • Service fire suppression systems
  • Use mobile systems for accurate job documentation and reporting
  • Support clients across mine sites, workshops, and mobile operations

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Valid HR or MR class driver's license
  • Construction White Card
  • Prior experience with hydraulic systems or hose and fittings
  • Exposure to mobile plant, drilling rigs, or mining equipment
  • Forklift license or experience in fire suppression system servicing
