Bushland Conservationist - Job Opportunity

Conservation and Maintenance of Natural Environment:

  • Bush Regeneration

The successful candidate will participate in bush regeneration programs, including tasks such as weed mapping, tree planting, and seed collection. Additionally, the officer will operate and maintain plant and equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications, maintain records, and participate in hazard reduction activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in bush regeneration
  • Current Chainsaw Ticket (desired)
  • Advanced plant identification skills
  • Experience using brush cutters
  • MR Truck licence (desired)
  • C Class licence minimum
  • Physically fit for manual work
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
