About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and fast-learning professional to join our operations team at a salvage vehicle and heavy motor site.

This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm.

  • Lead a team of asset inspectors and forklift operators, providing guidance and motivation as needed.
  • Exercise strong leadership skills through effective organisation, priority management, clear direction-setting, role clarity, and performance expectations.
  • Maintain high WHS standards as per policies.
  • Monitor and manage stock location, stock audits, asset movements/loading, and workflow.
  • Ensure all Booking In KPI's are met in line with asset sales channel and vendors requirements.

About You:

  • Sound experience in operations supervision and or management, preferably in heavy equipment, manufacturing, or distribution.
  • Be proactive, taking an active role in daily processes, setting site priorities, and developing expertise in salvage assets over time.
  • Show self-motivation with a hands-on approach.
  • Be adaptable and flexible in fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrate ability to work safely and effectively in various weather conditions.
  • Engage and motivate teams with strong people management skills.
  • Display competent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate basic understanding of MS Office skills and ability to learn user-friendly auction systems.
