Asset Management Technical Developer Role

The Bureau's asset management system underpins the lifecycle management of a diverse portfolio. This role will play a key part in developing, enhancing, and supporting the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system.

Key responsibilities include designing technical solutions to improve asset management processes and system functionality. This includes customising applications, automations, escalations, and reports to meet evolving business requirements.

A strong focus will be placed on enabling the adoption of asset management solutions through technical coaching, training, and clear documentation. The role also involves participating in system upgrades, testing, and integration activities to deliver enhancements that drive efficiency, data integrity, and informed decision-making.

This role has the potential to expand and support a wider range of asset classes including property, ICT, and software assets, helping strengthen the organisation's asset management culture and capability across all areas.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement technical solutions to improve asset management processes and system functionality.
  • Customise applications, automations, escalations, and reports to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Maximo by troubleshooting issues, managing product fixes in partnership with vendors, and ensuring the system remains robust and aligned with best practices.
  • Enable the adoption of asset management solutions through technical coaching, training, and clear documentation.
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and integration activities to deliver enhancements that drive efficiency, data integrity, and informed decision-making.
